Sales and Marketing Manager

Rambling Rover is a growing campervan rental business based in Slane, Co. Meath, with a fleet of 15 campervans and ambitious plans for further growth.

We are looking for an energetic, commercially minded Sales & Marketing Manager to join our team and take responsibility for driving bookings, growing our brand and developing new sales and marketing opportunities.

This is a hands-on role that will suit someone who enjoys working in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment and is comfortable taking ownership of projects from idea through to execution. You will play a key role in growing the Rambling Rover brand, increasing occupancy across our fleet and delivering an excellent customer journey from initial enquiry through to the end of the rental.

The successful candidate will have a strong combination of sales and marketing experience, excellent communication skills and a creative, proactive approach.

Key Responsibilities:

Sales & Business Development

• Develop and implement sales strategies to increase bookings and revenue.
• Manage incoming enquiries and convert leads into confirmed bookings.
• Identify new customer markets and sales opportunities.
• Monitor sales performance, conversion rates, booking levels and revenue.
• Identify opportunities to increase bookings during quieter periods.

Marketing

• Develop and implement Rambling Rover's marketing strategy.
• Manage the company's social media channels and grow our online presence.
• Create and coordinate engaging content including photography, video, travel guides and customer stories.
• Manage email marketing and customer communications.
• Develop and manage digital advertising campaigns.
• Maintain and develop the Rambling Rover brand across all customer touchpoints.
• Monitor marketing performance and use data to improve campaigns and return on investment.

Customer & Brand Experience

• Ensure customers receive an exceptional experience from their first interaction with Rambling Rover.
• Gather and respond to customer feedback and identify opportunities for improvement.
• Keep up to date with trends in the Irish tourism, travel and campervan rental markets.

Key Requirements:

• Proven experience in sales, marketing, business development or a similar commercial role.
• Demonstrable experience of generating leads, increasing sales and/or delivering measurable marketing results.
• Excellent communication, relationship-building and negotiation skills.
• Strong commercial awareness and an understanding of what drives sales and profitability.
• Experience managing social media platforms and creating engaging digital content.
• Strong organisational skills with excellent attention to detail.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• A proactive, creative and entrepreneurial approach.
• Ability to work weekends during busier periods.
• Comfortable working with sales and marketing data and using insights to inform decisions.
• A genuine interest in travel, tourism, outdoor adventure and the campervan lifestyle.

Desirable: Experience in tourism, hospitality, travel, automotive, vehicle rental or a similar customer-focused industry.

Pay: €65,000.00-€70,000.00 per year
