Social Media Manager

Salary: £30,000 - £35,000 per annum

The Welsh Rugby Union is recruiting a Social Media Manager in its Content department to plan, deliver and evaluate social media across WRU accounts, including the Wales senior men's and women's teams, Principality Stadium, and corporate and community channels.

What you'll do

• Build an insight-led social strategy that supports WRU commercial goals
• Create and publish platform-specific content, including live coverage
• Analyse performance to improve content and grow audiences
• Tell stories across international, professional, community and grassroots rugby
• Promote Welsh culture and language
• Support ticketing for senior internationals and Welsh professional clubs, including Super Rygbi Cymru

Essential

• Mobile-first content production and editing skills
• Proven experience running social media strategies
• Knowledge of platforms, analytics and rugby
• Editorial judgement and content management system experience
• Strong organisation, IT (including Microsoft packages) and communication skills
• Knowledge of regulatory compliance for social media publishing

Desirable

• Welsh-language ability
• A valid UK driving licence
