Today, we're a collection of businesses spanning music, entertainment, hospitality, events, workspaces and fitness, connected by a shared obsession with creating unforgettable experiences, bringing people together and doing things differently.
From the world-famous Ministry of Sound Club, to The Ministry and Ministry Venues, through to our charity Jai Dog Rescue, each part of the Group plays a role in shaping the communities and experiences we're known for.
We're entering an exciting phase of growth and evolution. Across every part of the business, we're investing in our people, our brands and the experiences we create. We have the advantage of being an established and globally recognised brand, but we still operate with the energy, pace and entrepreneurial mindset of a challenger. Ideas move quickly, opportunities are there to be seized, and individuals have the chance to make a visible impact.
If you're looking for a role where you can help shape the future of a unique group of brands, create experiences that people genuinely remember, and be part of a team that's building what's next, there's never been a more exciting time to join Ministry of Sound Group.
THE ROLE
Ministry of Sound is looking for a creative, commercially minded Social Media Manager to lead the growth and performance of one of the world's most iconic music and entertainment brands across social and digital channels.
This role is responsible for developing and executing a social-first content strategy that drives audience growth, engagement, ticket sales, streaming activity, merchandise sales and brand awareness.
Working across Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, Facebook, Snapchat and emerging platforms, you'll create compelling content, identify new opportunities for growth and ensure Ministry of Sound remains at the forefront of music, nightlife and culture.
As the social media lead, you'll own the content calendar, oversee content creation and video production, manage social campaigns and work closely with teams across marketing, PR, creative, events, ticketing and e-commerce. You'll combine strategic thinking with hands-on execution, translating trends, cultural moments and audience insights into impactful content that delivers measurable business results.
This is a fast-paced role suited to someone who lives and breathes social media, understands dance music and club culture, and has experience growing consumer-facing brands in music, entertainment, nightlife or events.
You'll lead the development and delivery of Ministry of Sound's social media strategy, ensuring all content supports wider business objectives and contributes to audience growth, engagement and conversion.
Working closely with the wider marketing team, you'll create and manage monthly content plans aligned to campaigns, events, releases and seasonal activity.
You'll oversee content production across all channels, including social-first video, artist content, influencer activity, competitions, shoots and community engagement, ensuring everything remains consistent with the Ministry of Sound brand and tone of voice.
You'll identify emerging trends, platform opportunities and audience behaviours to continually optimise performance, while managing budgets, reporting on key metrics and providing actionable insights for future campaigns.
You'll also collaborate with internal stakeholders and external partners to develop innovative campaigns that strengthen the brand's position as a global leader in music, nightlife and entertainment.
The role requires a strong understanding of both established and emerging social platforms, alongside the ability to create engaging content, edit video, write compelling copy and confidently represent the Ministry of Sound brand across all social activations.
YOU
You're a creative storyteller and strategic thinker with a proven track record of delivering successful social media campaigns for a consumer-facing brand.
You understand how to create content that feels native to different platforms, whilst maintaining a consistent brand identity.
You are highly organised, commercially aware and comfortable balancing long-term planning with real-time opportunities.
You're confident working with artists, DJs, creators and influencers, and have experience capturing and publishing content in live event environments.
You'll bring excellent communication and copywriting skills, a strong understanding of social analytics and audience behaviour, and a genuine passion for music, nightlife, entertainment and popular culture.
Most importantly, you'll have a clear understanding of how social content contributes to broader business goals and can demonstrate measurable results beyond engagement metrics alone.
To succeed in this role, you'll have at least three years' experience in social media, digital marketing or a similar consumer-facing environment, ideally within music, entertainment, lifestyle or events. You'll be an expert user of Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, Facebook, Snapchat and other emerging social platforms, with a portfolio that showcases your creativity, content production and channel growth experience.
You'll possess strong video editing skills, excellent written communication and a deep understanding of platform analytics, audience development and content optimisation. Experience working with creative teams, agencies or production partners is highly desirable, as is familiarity with graphic design tools such as Adobe Photoshop.
A degree in Marketing, Communications, Journalism or a related discipline would be advantageous but is not essential.
