Marketing Assistant

A National Casket and Coffin Manufacturing Company require a Sales Rep at its Retail, Warehouse and Distribution Centre in Pietermaritzburg.

The Candidate must be able to:

- Willing to travel and visit customers in the Pietermaritzburg and surrounding Midland’s area and well as areas within KZN as time progresses.

- Be fluent and professional when speaking to undertakers and be able to understand their required product range.

- Be able to provide daily reports on visits and report outcomes, challenges, new market trends and ideas.

- Be able to do statistical reports and graphs.

- Compile a customer data base within the region.

- Must be able to grow the customer data base and service customer order requirements timeously.

- Must be computer literate, be able to work on emails, excel and word, power point.

- Must be able to provide weekly and monthly reports to head office.

- Must have excellent writing skills.

- Must be able to work on an accounting package, be able to generate quotations, process invoices and generate delivery notes.

- Be able to manage stock holding and maintain accurate stock records.

Requirements: The incumbent must have a valid driver’s licence with own transport and must be willing to visit customers for marketing and business purpose.
