Content Designer

Salary: £35,581.75 per year
Location: Edinburgh, with flexible home and office working
Hours: 35 per week, fixed term for 12 months

Shelter Scotland, Scotland's national housing and homelessness charity, is hiring a Content Designer to create clear, accessible, user-focused digital content that helps people understand and act on their housing rights. The role sits in the Digital function of the Communications and Engagement team.

The role:

• Take part in user research and discovery
• Create, test, publish and improve digital advice and supporter content
• Work with colleagues in an agile team
• Champion user needs and give feedback to other content designers

You'll need:

• Experience communicating complex information clearly, ideally including online advice
• Confidence researching and turning complex information into accessible content
• Familiarity with content design and user journeys
