The Website & Social Media Associate is responsible for maintaining the company’s online presence through regular website content updates and effective management of official social media accounts. The position ensures that website information and digital content are accurate, updated, visually consistent, and aligned with the company’s branding and communication standards.

The role does not primarily involve website development or programming but requires sufficient technical knowledge to manage website content, perform basic troubleshooting, coordinate technical concerns, and ensure that the company’s digital platforms remain functional and current.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

1. Website Management & Maintenance

  • Update website content, including company information, products, announcements, news, photos, banners, and other approved materials.
  • Ensure that website information is accurate, current, properly formatted, and consistent with company branding.
  • Upload, edit, replace, or remove website content as required.
  • Regularly check website pages, links, images, forms, and other website elements for functionality.
  • Perform basic troubleshooting of website content and formatting issues.
  • Coordinate with external web developers, hosting providers, or other technical service providers for concerns requiring programming or advanced technical support.
  • Maintain organized copies or backups of website content and digital assets.
  • Monitor the website for outdated information and recommend necessary updates.

2. Social Media Management

  • Manage and maintain the company’s official social media accounts, including Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, TikTok, and other platforms as applicable.
  • Prepare, schedule, and publish approved social media content.
  • Develop and maintain a social media content calendar in coordination with concerned departments.
  • Ensure that all published content follows company branding, communication guidelines, and approved messaging.
  • Monitor comments, messages, mentions, reviews, and other interactions on company social media accounts.
  • Respond to basic inquiries based on approved guidelines and properly endorse concerns requiring action from other departments.
  • Monitor inappropriate, misleading, or potentially damaging comments or content and escalate them to management when necessary.

3. Content & Digital Materials

  • Create basic digital materials for website and social media use, such as announcements, promotional graphics, product features, event posts, and other company content.
  • Edit and optimize photos, graphics, videos, and other digital assets for online publishing.
  • Coordinate with concerned departments in gathering accurate information, photos, and materials for publication.
  • Ensure that only approved information and materials are posted on official company platforms.

4. Digital Performance Monitoring

  • Monitor basic website and social media performance indicators such as website traffic, page views, reach, engagement, follower growth, and content performance.
  • Prepare periodic reports on website and social media activities and performance.
  • Identify high-performing content and recommend improvements to increase online visibility and engagement.
  • Keep updated on relevant social media trends, platform features, and digital communication practices.

5. Account & Digital Asset Administration

  • Maintain an updated inventory of official company websites, social media accounts, digital platforms, and authorized administrators.
  • Ensure proper handling and confidentiality of company account credentials and access.
  • Assist in managing account permissions and ensure that access is provided only to authorized personnel.
  • Coordinate the recovery or resolution of account-access issues when necessary.

QUALIFICATIONS

Education:
Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Multimedia Arts, Marketing, Communications, Digital Media, or a related field.

Experience:
At least 1–2 years of experience in website content management, social media management, digital marketing, or a related role is preferred but we welcome fresh graduate

Knowledge and Skills:

  • Familiarity with website Content Management Systems (CMS) such as WordPress or similar platforms.
  • Knowledge of major social media platforms and their management tools.
  • Basic knowledge of HTML/CSS is an advantage but not required for full website development.
  • Basic graphic design and photo/video editing skills.
  • Familiarity with Canva, Adobe applications, or similar design tools is an advantage.
  • Basic understanding of website and social media analytics.
  • Good written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple digital platforms.
  • Ability to handle company social media accounts and digital information responsibly and confidentially.

ROLE CLARIFICATION

This position is not primarily responsible for developing, coding, or building websites from scratch. Its primary responsibility is the ongoing maintenance and updating of the company website, management of website content, administration of company social media accounts, creation and publication of digital content, and coordination with technical providers when advanced website development or programming is required.

Pay: Php18,000.00 - Php19,000.00 per month
