### About the role

We are seeking a Digital Platforms Marketing Manager to lead the strategy, performance and day-to-day management of our websites and mobile apps for a fixed term contract of 12 months.

The role involves ensuring our digital platforms provide a clear, accessible, and engaging experience while supporting our organisational goals. Working across marketing, content, product, design and technology teams, you will oversee the digital estate from planning and publishing through to optimisation and reporting.

### Key Responsibilities

  • Own the strategy and ongoing management of the organisation's websites and mobile apps.
  • Maintain a clear roadmap for improvements, new features, content updates, and platform development.
  • Ensure digital content is accurate, engaging, on-brand and tailored to audience needs.
  • Improve the user journey, navigation, and conversion pathways using research, feedback, and performance data.
  • Oversee traditional and AI-powered search optimisation to improve visibility and discovery.
  • Monitor platform performance using analytics, identify opportunities, and make recommendations.
  • Establish and maintain standards for digital governance, accessibility, quality assurance, and brand consistency.
  • Coordinate website and app releases, testing, fixes and enhancements with internal teams and external suppliers.
  • Manage relationships with agencies and technology partners, including budgets and service standards.
  • Share performance reports and insights with stakeholders, translating data into practical actions.

### What we are looking for

We are looking for an individual with experience managing websites and apps, ideally across a varied or multi-platform digital estate. You'll be confident balancing audience needs, marketing objectives and technical requirements, and comfortable working with data to guide decisions.

You'll also have:

  • Experience with WordPress and web or app analytics tools.
  • Knowledge of SEO, GEO, user experience, and conversion optimisation.
  • Strong project management skills and the ability to coordinate multiple priorities.
  • Excellent communication skills and experience working with cross-functional teams.
  • A strong eye for detail and a commitment to accessible, high-quality digital experiences.
  • The ability to manage suppliers and build effective working relationships.

Success in the role will look like:

  • Websites and apps are well-managed, consistent, and aligned with organisational priorities.
  • Users can easily find information and complete key tasks.
  • Digital engagement and campaign performance improve over time.
  • Content and platform updates are delivered accurately and efficiently.
  • Stakeholders have clear insight into performance and opportunities for improvement.
