Stage School Australia is looking for a Part Time (3 days a week) Social Media Coordinator to join our creative Marketing Team!

The role will be pro-rata or .6 of a Full Time equivalent, equal to base salary of $39,000 per annum.

Stage School Australia is looking for a creative and organised Social Media Coordinator to help bring our vibrant performances, classes and community to life online. This role is perfect for someone who has experience in content creation, loves social trends, and can balance planning with fast-paced event coverage.

This is a unique opportunity to work behind the scenes with a leading performing arts organisation, showcasing the energy, talent, and community of our students across Social Media platforms.

Some travel may be required for the role.

About the Role
Working closely with the Marketing Manager, you will help implement SSA’s social media strategy by planning, capturing, editing and publishing content across our key platforms - Instagram, Facebook, TikTok and YouTube. You’ll also support campaign delivery, community engagement and reporting, helping drive brand awareness, student recruitment and retention across all SSA programs (including TCA and The Costume Dept).

Key Responsibilities

  • Create platform-specific content for Instagram, Facebook, TikTok & YouTube
  • Attend and capture content at productions, performances, rehearsals, classes and events
  • Produce short-form video content optimised for TikTok and Meta
  • Create simple static assets/infographic content using templates and brand guidelines
  • Schedule and publish content in line with campaign timelines and content calendars
  • Monitor and respond to messages/comments, escalating when required
  • Support marketing campaigns and contribute to reporting and performance insights
  • Maintain accurate content plans, workflows and deadlines using tools such as Monday.com and shared calendars

About You

  • Proven experience creating social content across IG/FB/TikTok/YouTube
  • Strong video editing skills (CapCut, Premiere Pro or Final Cut Pro)
  • Confidence capturing content in live environments/events (preferred)
  • Strong written communication and community engagement skills
  • Excellent organisation and ability to manage multiple deadlines
  • Creative initiative with a willingness to test new formats and trends
  • Basic understanding of social analytics and performance reporting
  • Experience across Stage School Australia productions or departments (advantageous)
  • Must have a Blue Card or be willing to obtain one for the role.
