About the role

DARMHA is an established Australian women's fashion and lifestyle brand seeking an experienced Social Media & Content Lead to own the brand's social media presence, lead storytelling, and drive measurable organic growth. This senior, hands-on role requires proven experience and demonstrated results.

Key responsibilities

• Own social media platforms, creative direction, engagement and organic growth across Instagram, TikTok and the wider social landscape
• Develop original content concepts, engaging stories, creative campaigns and fresh ways to bring DARMHA to life
• Create exceptional content independently, including shooting high-quality content using an iPhone with strong composition, styling, lighting and storytelling
• Present products, tell stories and connect naturally with the audience both behind and in front of the camera
• Independently edit and publish content as needed
• Brief and creatively direct the dedicated video editing and creative team, leading creative vision, guiding storytelling, directing pacing and editing styles
• Understand engagement rates, organic reach, watch time, audience retention, shares, saves and community growth
• Identify what's working, understand why it works and use insights to develop stronger creative concepts
• Continually test, refine and improve content to deliver measurable results
• Build a genuinely engaged community and strengthen social presence

About you

• Significant experience owning and growing social media platforms for an established brand
• Proven ability to develop original creative concepts and compelling brand storytelling
• Strong, measurable results in organic reach, engagement and audience growth
• Exceptional hands-on filming skills and ability to independently edit short-form video
• Genuine confidence and personality in front of the camera
• Experience briefing and creatively directing editors or other content professionals
• Strong understanding of social media analytics and how to translate data into creative decisions
• Excellent eye for fashion, styling, aesthetics and brand presentation
• Deep knowledge of Instagram, TikTok, emerging content trends and audience behaviour
• Confidence, initiative and experience to take ownership without constant direction
