As Senior Manager, Marketing, you will be the principal advisor to senior management and staff on all marketing activities, providing proactive and strategic advice and leading the design, development and implementation of effective marketing practice. Reporting to the Director, Marketing, you will lead a team of four to six staff and play a key role in managing the complex, strategic projects and initiatives that support domestic and international student recruitment.
You will lead the development and execution of integrated marketing strategy and campaigns, partner with creative and media agencies, and oversee operational delivery across events, web and social media, digital publications and communications. You will manage the marketing budget, prepare strategic reports and analytics on campaign performance, competitor activity and market trends, and engage stakeholders across the University to deliver robust, high-quality and flexible marketing services.
This is a fixed-term opportunity covering a period of parental leave, offering the chance to lead a capable, established team through a busy stage of the student recruitment cycle.
You are an accomplished marketing leader with relevant postgraduate qualifications and demonstrated extensive management experience in marketing, or an equivalent combination of relevant experience and qualifications. Marketing experience in the higher education sector or a similarly complex organisation will be highly regarded.
You bring proven strategic advice and planning skills, a strong track record developing and executing marketing campaigns with experience in advertising and/or digital marketing, and high-level analytical, problem-solving and decision-making skills, with experience turning data from multiple sources into strategic recommendations.
An engaging and experienced people leader, you are able to coach and mentor staff, prioritise competing workloads and lead teams to deliver challenging objectives on time and on budget in a culturally diverse environment. You have excellent interpersonal, liaison and communication skills, and are confident developing written documentation and delivering engaging presentations to large audiences.
