Job Description

Kwandebele Film Festival is seeking a creative and experienced Graphic Designer to develop the festival's branding, marketing materials, social media graphics and official website.

Key Responsibilities

• Brand Identity: Official logo, logo variations, letterhead and business cards.
• Event Branding: Pull-up banners, gazebo branding, wall banners, media backdrop and signage.
• Print Materials: Flyers, pamphlets, posters, festival booklet, invitations and certificates.
• Website: Design and publish a fully functional Canva website with festival information, programmes and registration links.
• Social Media: 8 talent promotional posters, 8 story designs, festival announcements, countdown graphics and promotional templates.
• Additional Branding: Merchandise artwork, including T-shirts, caps and promotional items where required.

Minimum Requirements

• Proven graphic design experience with a strong portfolio.
• Proficiency in Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator and Canva.
• Experience in branding, print design and social media marketing.
• Ability to design and publish websites using Canva.
• Knowledge of print-ready artwork, colour formats and design specifications.
• Understanding of Ndebele cultural aesthetics will be an advantage.
• Ability to meet deadlines and work independently.

Design Specifications

• High-resolution, print-ready PDF files.
• Editable source files (AI, SVG, Canva).
• PNG and JPG formats for digital use.
• Minimum of two revision rounds per design.
• Consistent festival branding across all materials.
