Location: Soho, London W1 (hybrid, 60% in office)

Our opportunity
BAFTA is seeking an organised, proactive and detail-oriented Graphic Design Assistant to support the delivery of creative projects across all areas of the organisation, from our world-renowned Awards and talent development programmes to BAFTA 195 Piccadilly.
Working at the heart of the small in-house design team, you will be responsible for coordinating the flow of design requests, keeping track of project schedules, understanding priorities and ensuring resources are allocated effectively across the team. Acting as the central point of contact between designers, internal stakeholders, agencies and external suppliers, you will assist in ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget and to the required specifications.
This is a hands-on role, responsible for project workflows, maintaining visibility of all live design activity and proactively managing changing priorities, deadlines and last-minute requests. Taking ownership of file management and planning systems, you will be expected to take initiative in identifying opportunities to improve ways of working, strengthen workflow efficiencies and maintain high standards of governance across project records, digital assets and creative files. Alongside this coordination and administrative responsibility, you will, when required, provide design support across a range of projects, assisting with setting up working files, implementing artwork updates and amendments, and creating versions of assets with pre-existing templates.
This is an exciting opportunity for someone who enjoys bringing structure and organisation to a fast-paced creative environment while developing their design skills within one of the world's most recognised arts and cultural brands.
