About the Role

We're looking for a creative and talented Content Producer to create engaging visual content that brings powerful stories to life.

You'll produce high-quality photography, video, animation and social-first content that helps connect supporters, partners and donors with our mission. From developing creative concepts through to filming, editing and final delivery, you'll play a key role in producing content across social media, websites and wider marketing campaigns.

Working closely with colleagues, external creative partners and communities across the UK, you'll create compelling content that inspires audiences and drives engagement.


Key Responsibilities

  • Produce high-quality photography, video, animation and short-form social content.
  • Take projects from initial concept through filming, editing and final delivery.
  • Commission specialist creative support where required.

  • Create original visual concepts and compelling stories for digital channels.
  • Produce engaging content for social media, websites and supporter communications.
  • Identify opportunities to improve storytelling and audience engagement.

🎨 Maintain high creative standards

  • Ensure all content aligns with brand guidelines and accessibility standards.
  • Deliver visually engaging, audience-focused creative across multiple platforms.
  • Balance creative innovation with brand consistency.

  • Lead creative productions from brief and storyboard through to final delivery.
  • Manage production schedules, budgets and approvals.
  • Coordinate external photographers, videographers, editors and creative suppliers.

🀝 Collaborate across teams

  • Work with colleagues to identify compelling stories.
  • Provide creative advice and guidance on content production.
  • Support teams in getting the most from existing visual assets.

  • Help maintain relationships with creative suppliers.
  • Support the organisation and management of digital assets.
  • Ensure photography and video content is stored and reused effectively.

What We're Looking For

Essential Knowledge

  • Professional experience producing photography and video content from concept to completion.
  • Strong filming, editing and post-production skills.
  • Experience using Adobe Creative Suite (including Premiere Pro and related editing software).
  • Knowledge of design, illustration and animation software.
  • Experience creating mobile-first content using smartphones and editing tools such as CapCut.
  • Understanding of how different social media platforms and audiences consume visual content.
  • Knowledge of accessibility best practices, including captions, subtitles, alt text and plain English.

Essential Skills

  • Excellent visual storytelling skills with the ability to create engaging, audience-focused content.
  • Strong creative thinking and idea generation.
  • Ability to simplify complex topics into clear, engaging visual stories.
  • Confident producing content for both long-form and short-form digital channels.
  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Comfortable testing new creative ideas while maintaining quality, accuracy and trust.

Experience Required

  • Experience producing visual content across websites, social media and marketing campaigns.
  • Experience taking projects from creative concept through filming, editing and final delivery.
  • Experience planning and delivering creative projects, including briefing, storyboarding and production.
  • Experience commissioning and managing external creative suppliers.
  • Experience repurposing content into multiple formats, including social-first edits, cut-downs and campaign assets.
  • A portfolio demonstrating strong visual storytelling across a variety of formats and audiences.

Requirements

  • Full UK driving licence.
  • Willingness to travel across the UK for filming, meetings, team events and other work-related activities.
