Introduction
Project Seagrass – Saving the World’s Seagrass
Project Seagrass is the world’s largest organisation solely dedicated to the conservation of seagrass meadows; one of the planet’s most vital yet overlooked ecosystems. We are a global charitable organisation working at the intersection of community, research and action to secure a thriving future for seagrass and the people who depend upon it. Through research excellence, partnerships, and practical conservation, we tackle the biodiversity and climate crises by restoring and protecting coastal ecosystems worldwide.
Project Seagrass aims to lead societal change to enable the recognition, recovery and resilience of seagrass ecosystems globally; that provide biodiversity, equitable and sustainable livelihoods, and planetary life support. Project Seagrass was founded on scientific rationale; we remain an evidence based and evidence generating organisation.
We offer flexible working, support for work-life balance, above-average leave entitlement, and ongoing learning and development opportunities. We also provide generous pension, maternity and paternity benefits. We value diversity and welcome applications from all suitably qualified candidates regardless of age, gender, race, disability, sexual orientation, religion or ethnic background, and encourage anyone with relevant drive and experience to apply. We encourage you to apply even if you don’t meet every single requirement. Your unique experiences and perspectives could be exactly what we’re looking for.
