YouTube Channels Manager (up to £19,000) – 6month FTC

About the role As our YouTube Channels Manager, you will be responsible for conducting comprehensive audits, enhancing SEO, creating visually appealing graphics, and implementing strategic content plans across multiple channels. Reporting to the Head of Editorial Video, your primary objective will be to improve viewer engagement, channel performance, and ensure compliance with YouTube guidelines.

As a YouTube Channels Manager you will;

  • Conduct comprehensive audits for each of the Immediate Media channels, assessing content, metadata, and user engagement.
  • Implement SEO optimisation into existing videos. Providing documentation on best practice.
  • Develop and create compelling thumbnails and graphics for videos, adhering to brand identities. Establish blueprints and templates for consistent and efficient graphic creation.
  • Propose content strategies to enhance viewer engagement and channel growth.
  • Formulate and execute posting/scheduling strategies for all channels to ensure optimal content dissemination.
  • Analyse and report channel performance and adjust strategies based on data insights.
  • Ensure compliance with YouTube policies and guidelines.
  • Keep abreast of new features and trends on YouTube, incorporating these into channel strategies.
  • Develop a comprehensive playbook documenting optimisation strategies and insights.

 

Requirements

  • Proven experience in YouTube channel management, SEO, and digital content creation.
  • Strong analytical, creative, and strategic thinking skills.
  • Excellent collaboration and communication abilities.
  • Adaptive to changing digital trends and audience preferences.
