The Canadian Marketing team is excited to add a Specialist role to the team. The Specialist role will provide project support for cross-functional and agency partners for assigned initiatives working closely with the Director of Marketing and Marketing Manager. This role will assist with the execution of marketing initiatives to deliver the annual operating plan. The role will work collaboratively with the Canadian Marketing team to ensure timely communication to franchise system for flawless execution of marketing programs. 

ResponsibilitiesAnalyze marketing and finance data, providing insights and findings on marketing initiatives. Develop a variety of different marketing requests and reports such as WCAP presentations, Weekly Sales Reports., Post Pillar Analysis, and DMA meetings.

Work with the team to develop different marketing communications such as monthly field communications, POS documents, restaurant schematics, test letters, special events, etc.

Lead and support in maintaining the accuracy of the national marketing fund by submitting estimates and invoices to accounting on time and projecting expenses with support from Marketing Manager. Liase with external and internal stakeholders to ensure budget is on time and on track.

Support the development and management of merchandising requests for national funded programs as well as supporting new store openings and image activated locations.

Development of marketing tools

Tactical execution of marketing initiatives

Promotional elements associated with a national program to build incremental customer counts or strengthen brand affinity

Education: Bachelor’s Degree strongly preferred

Additional education information (major, etc.): marketing, advertising, communications, or related field are preferred

What we expect from you

1-2 years in Marketing 

Must be able to manage multiple projects and priorities – strong organization, communication and planning skills required.

Must be innovative, possess strong critical thinking skills and be self-motivated. Must be able to work independently and with a variety of other functions in the organization as part of a team.

Must be proficient in excel

Position will be primarily remote with about 1 day per week on-site, and other days onsite as needed.

Pay Range: CAD 67,000 – CAD 115,000 Annually
