Key Purpose of Role  
The key purpose of the role of the Social Media & Marketing Specialist is to assist the Marketing Manager in implementing the marketing campaigns/ projects and own our social media presence.

You will be responsible for supporting the retail team in growing our sales and brand through our store and online marketing. Alongside this, you’ll own our content creation, execution and community management to drive reach and engagement.

You will be ambitious, have fresh ideas and a sense of humour – we are selling donuts after all!

It’s a fast-paced environment that’s ever changing on our high-growth journey so it’s the perfect role for an ambitious junior marketer who is keen for career growth.

Using your amazing skills, you will build on what we have created to date and work with the team to take our marketing and social media into the future.

 

More specifically you will be:  

  • Assisting in the implementation of the marketing plan and marketing projects, ensuring each component lands successfully
  • Communicating effectively with many stakeholders including briefing graphic designers on required artwork and working with our wider team (IT, Operations, HR) on execution of marketing campaigns
  • Content creation, execution and community management of our Social Media channels including Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn and TikTok
  • Measuring results via reporting, and making informed recommendations/ choices on where to invest time and resources
  • Copywriting for all marketing including campaigns, EDMs and website
  • Implementation of our Loyalty Program, including the ideation of ways to utilise this channel for customer engagement and growth

 

What you’ll need:  

  • Solid experience in a Social Media Specialist, Generalist Marketing role in FMCG, Retail, or closely related field
  • Skilled at communication and creative copywriting
  • Project management experience and exceptional time management skills
  • Motivated with passion to excel in a super hands-on environment
  • Social media management in a professional setting a must
  • Agency experience preferred
