The purpose of the role:

The Social Media Manager role aims to establish TWMP’s online presence as a leader in it’s field, increasing trust, authority and growth among the target audiences, strengthening TWMPs reputation. This role will help carve out a unique voice for TWMP through its socials – working with and alongside the broader TWMP brand.

The role aims to effectively communicate the organisation’s mission, increase brand awareness and engagement, build strong communities, and support the growth and expansion of the brand’s presence in various markets and partnerships.

We’ve been featured in over 200 media outlets, including the BBC and the World Economic Forum, to name a few, but with the right team in place, we can do a lot more.

Who we are looking for:

We’re looking for somebody who is able to continue our consistent success on LinkedIn and Instagram, whilst also building our presence on YouTube, TikTok, Facebook and X.

You are a hands-on, driven Social Media Manager with 2 to 5 years of experience, preferably in a similar industry or nonprofit sector. Experience with B2B socials is desirable.

You are educated to a degree level or have equivalent experience and a proven track record in social media management and content creation. The algorithm is your friend, and you know it inside out. You have demonstrated success in building and engaging online communities, increasing brand visibility, driving audience growth, influencer marketing and growing influencer relationships.

Your duties and responsibilities include:

Content creation: Developing and refining content across various social channels to communicate the organisation’s mission and values effectively. This involves creating compelling visual content and written copies to engage the audience and grow the brand’s online presence.

Social Media Management: Scheduling and posting content on social platforms to reach the target audience and maintain a strong brand presence online. This includes monitoring and responding to audience interactions, managing community engagement, and analysing data to optimise content and grow the target audience.

Audience Building: Converting people into followers and growing the online target audience to increase brand trust and authority. This involves implementing strategies to attract and retain followers, building engagement rates on content, and increasing overall brand engagement.

Community Engagement: Engaging with the community across social platforms to foster retention and growth. This involves interacting with followers, responding to comments and messages, and building relationships with volunteers to convert the community into donors and future customers.

Influencer Marketing: Develop and execute influencer marketing strategies that align with the company’s brand objectives and target audience. Identify, engage, and nurture relationships with relevant influencers to expand brand reach and visibility. Create influencer content, ensuring it is on-brand, compliant with guidelines, and effectively integrated into broader marketing campaigns.

Reporting and Analysis: Collecting and analysing data from the organisation’s social media presence to gain insights into audience behaviour, engagement rates, and content performance. This information is then used to refine strategies and further grow the target audience.
