We have an exciting opportunity for a Social Media Coordinator to join our team.

Location: Lancing, West Sussex (with hybrid working options)

Salary: £26,918 per annum, Band D, Level 3, Exclusive of Outer London

Working Hours: 35 hours per week

Job Type: Permanent

The Social Media Coordinator Role:

As our Social Media Coordinator, you will be managing and building our online communities and will be in charge of achieving our social media goals through finding a good balance of UGC and product-centred content; they’ll be creating our branded content.

We get to know and be involved in almost everything that happens from product launches to creating the leaflets for internal parties. We thrive for excellence but we are always human and our meetings are full of laughter: information are shared, everyone is valued and jokes are a must.

Key responsibilities as our Social Media Coordinator:

  • Schedule the content on every social media account and target specific audiences with tailored messages following the B2C Marketing plan; this is reviewed on weekly in basis
  • Responsible for planning and executing A/B testing to select the best combination of copy/layout in order to improve the success of our marketing campaigns
  • Community management for our brands social media accounts (e.g. reply to mentions, liking retweet, reach out to scouts members, engage in meaningful conversation) to build relationships with potential customers
  • Actively research new formats and new platform to broadcast our content with the help of the Digital Marketing Executive
  • Brief the Digital Marketing executive on specific the dimension needed for the imagery in each social media to ensure the success of the marketing campaign
  • Fill in weekly report to measure content’s performance based on selected KPIs, monitor results, and highlight what improvements could be done

What we are looking for in our Social Media Coordinator:

  • Educated to a degree level or professional marketing qualification
  • Commercial marketing experience
  • Comprehensive social media managing and analytics in the retail sector
  • Ability to create reports on marketing activity and present in meetings
  • Marketing qualification – Ecommerce/retail experience
  • Knowledge of Scouting
