In collaboration with 10 regional partners, Parkinson Québec is the main organization responsible for empowering and informing the 100,000 Quebecers affected by Parkinson’s disease and their loved ones.

WHY WE ARE LOOKING FOR YOU:

Parkinson Québec is in full development and pursues the ambition of becoming the reference organization in Quebec for information and education on Parkinson’s disease. As a specialist in social media and content creation, the challenge we offer you is to help us demystify this disease to the general public, because it is the second most common degenerative neurological disease.

Passionate about social media, you will be called upon to produce and publish multi-format content mainly on Facebook, TikTok, LinkedIn, YouTube and Instagram in collaboration with the digital strategy manager.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Work together with the digital strategy manager to deliver creation that meets our objectives;
  • Provide, upon request, technical support for the graphic design of the Organization’s various productions;
  • Implement the social media publication schedule;
  • Contribute to the creation and writing of multimedia content: Photos, videos, reels, advertisements, newsletters, etc.;
  • Graphically design informational or promotional materials in compliance with the group’s graphic charter
  • Adapt the content to the marketing strategies in place and distribute according to the objective of the message and the target audience;
  • Ensure brand consistency and compliance with quality standards in all content created;
  • Interact with the community with the aim of establishing a close relationship with the public and maximizing the efficiency of the strategies adopted;
  • Identify and collaborate with relevant influencers, brand ambassadors and strategic partners to expand our media reach;
  • Take into account statistical monitoring associated with publications;
  • All other related tasks.

SKILLS

  • Mastery of major social media platforms;
  • Proficient in the Office suite and design tools such as Canva, Photoshop and Illustrator.
  • Graphic design skills;
  • Knowledge of the Wordpress platform;
  • Comfortable working with digital technologies;
  • Be able to work independently and demonstrate initiative and creativity;
  • Have excellent writing quality and a superior level of French.
  • Be bilingual (ability to produce bilingual documents);
  • Demonstrates an ability to work within a small team and manage several projects simultaneously while maintaining attention to detail;
  • Have the ambition to take the organization to another level

LUGGAGE REQUIRED

  • Hold a degree in communications, marketing or any other related discipline;
  • Have a minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar position, in an agency or in a media outlet;
  • Knowledge of the audiovisual production sector;

SALARY

  • Salary: $40k-50k, for information purposes, to be determined depending on experience and skills
