Over the last seven years, we have successfully built a strong-knit community of comfort lovers across our various social channels, with our very first orders coming direct from Instagram. As we continue to grow and reach new milestones in 2024, we are now looking for a passionate, creative, and results-driven Social Media and Influencer Executive to join our Brand team to support our continued brand growth across our key territories.
Position Overview: As the Social Media and Influencer Executive at Piglet in Bed, you will work closely with our Head of Brand on developing and executing comprehensive social media strategies to enhance brand awareness, engagement, and growth across various platforms. You will also play a pivotal role in identifying, nurturing, and collaborating with influencers to amplify our brand’s reach and resonance within our target audience.
Key Responsibilities:
- Social Media Strategy Development: Develop and implement strategic social media plans aligned with overarching marketing objectives and brand identity.
- Content Creation and Curation: Alongside our Interior & Content Stylist and Head of Brand, you’ll help to conceptualise, create, commission, and curate compelling visual and written content for social media platforms (Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, Pinterest, YouTube etc.) that resonates with our target audience. Collaborate with the rest of the Brand Team to brief deliverables and create social content at photoshoots.
- Community Management: Foster meaningful interactions and relationships with our online community by responding to comments, messages, and inquiries in a timely and engaging manner.
- Influencer Identification and Outreach: Identify and evaluate potential influencers and brand ambassadors whose values and aesthetic align with our brand ethos. Develop and nurture relationships with influencers through effective communication and collaboration.
- Campaign Management: Plan and execute influencer marketing campaigns, including drafting creative briefs, setting up orders, contract negotiations, and performance tracking to ensure the achievement of campaign objectives.
- Performance Analysis: Monitor and analyse social media metrics, influencer performance, and industry trends to optimise strategies and drive continuous improvement. Contribute to weekly trade reporting & share commentary and actions around insights.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Collaborate closely with the marketing, creative, and product teams to ensure alignment and integration of social media initiatives with broader marketing initiatives and product launches.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience (2 years) in social media management and influencer marketing within the consumer goods or lifestyle industry.
- Demonstrated success in developing and executing social media strategies that drive engagement, growth, and brand awareness.
- Strong understanding of social media platforms, trends, and best practices.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
- Creative mindset with a keen eye for design aesthetics and storytelling.
- Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data and derive actionable insights.
- Proficiency in social media management tools and analytics platforms.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously.

The Nitty Gritty:
- We are currently based in a temporary office in Angel, North London and the successful applicant will be required to spend at least 1 day per week in the office to begin with. We’re moving to a new office in South London in summer, and this role will be hybrid with 2 days in the office from that point.
