Social Media and Digital Content Specialist

Epic Hair Designs is Brisbane’s leading salon, known for exceptional customer service and innovative hair styling. We are seeking a creative and driven Social Media and Digital Content Specialist to join our team at our Ascot office. This new role offers the opportunity to take the lead in managing our social media presence, developing engaging content, and supporting our marketing efforts, including working with key partners.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and manage dynamic, engaging content across all social media platforms (Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, etc.).
• Create visually compelling graphics and videos that reflect our brand identity and style.
• Oversee the scheduling and publishing of posts and EDMs to ensure a consistent and professional online presence.
• Engage with our online audience, responding to comments, messages, and inquiries in a timely and authentic manner.
• Collaborate with external partners to promote joint initiatives and campaigns.
• Monitor social media trends, analyze performance metrics, and implement strategies to boost engagement.
• Support graphic design needs for marketing materials and promotional content.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience in social media management and content creation.
• Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, etc.) is a must.
• Experience in creating EDMs and managing email marketing campaigns.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
• Strong organizational skills with attention to detail and deadlines.
• A valid driver’s license.

Position Details:

• 4 – 5 days per week, with flexible hours 30 to 38 hours per week).
• Competitive hourly rate, based on experience.
