The Social Media and Content Advisor works within the Strategic Communications and Engagement division to source suitable content for digital and social media channels. The role will champion and promote the use of channels and contribute to social media content strategy, working in partnership with the Customer Experience Digital team.

Position Outcomes / Accountabilities 
Join our team at the DTP as a Social Media Advisor! We’re looking for a proactive professional to lead innovative content strategies and foster engagement across our digital platforms. In this role, you’ll collaborate closely with internal stakeholders to develop compelling content, monitor and drive growth on various social media platforms, and conduct thorough research to inform strategic recommendations. Additionally, you’ll play a key role in enhancing our digital content through training initiatives and negotiating partnerships with key stakeholders. Key Selection Criteria 
• Understand the market and assist in the design and development of new products.
• Prepare quality written materials for various target groups and purposes including media, community engagement, advertising, and online.
• Design communication channels and materials which appeal to stakeholders, using appropriate media.
• Exercise professional independent judgement to develop online communications including websites, Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn.
• Research and apply new social media tools and techniques.

 

Qualifications and Experience
Desirable

•    Qualification in communications, public relations, or marketing would be desirable.
