Cinekid Festival takes place every autumn holiday: the largest children’s film and media festival in the world. The latest films & series, games, media installations, workshops and master classes can be experienced throughout the Netherlands at the festival. Cinekid wants to amaze, entertain, connect and contribute to the development of children into independent, conscious and well-thinking global citizens. Throughout the year, Cinekid reaches many children and teachers with a public and educational program.

Will you be the new coordinator within Cinekid’s marketing team?

Marketing & Communications Coordinator (m/f/x)

32 hours per week

This is what you will do:
As a Marketing & Communications Coordinator, you are completely responsible for our expressions on various channels and implementing the strategy we devise for this purpose. Thanks to you, we can reach regular and new target groups and Cinekid will be put even better on the map. This role is both creative and structured. Your direct manager is Head of Marketing. Within your role as Marketing & Communications Coordinator, you will work on, among other things:

  • Managing and creating all digital content.
  • Creating the content planning for our website, social media, newsletters and other digital communications. Also content in collaboration with partners and influencers.
  • Structured and measurable objectives.
  • Analyzing and adjusting digital communication expressions.
  • Monitoring the user-friendliness of the website/customer journey.
  • Managing/monitoring the appearance of the website in terms of layout and use of modules
  • The coordination of a team consisting of freelance designers, editors and intern(s).
  • Close collaboration with colleagues from other departments to coordinate content planning.
  • The translation of the campaign within the content strategy.
  • You support colleagues in your team when necessary.

About you*:

  • You have at least 1 year of experience in a relevant working environment.
  • You enjoy working with and have knowledge of children (4-14) and their experiences.
  • You have an affinity with film as a cultural form in a broad sense.
  • You are good at translating complex matter into clear, understandable messages.
  • You can switch between strategic, tactical and operational levels and you know how to stay on course, even within the hectic nature of working at a festival.
  • You are creative, communicative and data-driven.
  • You can work smoothly with various systems such as presentation tools, CRM, CMS, email programs and Google Analytics 4.
  • You have knowledge of graphic design and experience with Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Illustrator and Photoshop).

  • An appropriate salary: Classification is based on relevant work experience in Cinekid salary house scale 4B (gross 2,378 euros to 3,425 euros based on 40 hours p/w)
