Sam’s Social Media Club is helping dmb films find a Junior Creative (Video).

We’re looking to hire a creative, dynamic and ambitious person to join our growing business.

dmb films was launched in 2017 with a vision to provide brands and businesses with dynamic content to support their goals in an interesting and engaging way.

We’ve grown a lot since we launched and we’re now trusted by some of the biggest and most respected brands in the UK and Europe to take care of their video content.

The brands we work with include Adidas, Sainsbury’s, P&O Cruises, Docklands Light Railway, Welcome Break and many others.

Outside of video we also support clients deliver against their broader marketing and social media campaign goals.

Our team is currently made up of 4 internal colleagues and 5 external contractors, but we’re now looking at growth and taking the business to the next level. The Junior Creative (Video) role plays a key part in the next stage of the company’s growth and is the first of many new roles we’re going to be recruiting for.

As a Junior Creative (Video), you will be responsible for capturing, producing and editing exciting footage for our clients’ and for marketing campaigns of our own brand.

Responsibilities:

• Assist the Creative Producer with shoot production across client and internal projects
• Shooting, editing, and developing creative content for clients’ social media (video, photography & motion graphics)
• Supporting the wider video team on broader video/creative projects – corporate & commercial projects
• Capturing behind the scenes content of dmb films’ projects on set, in our office & studio
• Regularly collaborating with other team members – both internal colleagues and freelancers
• Delivering work to a high standard, first time, every time
• Ensuring data is backed-up and archived to the correct locations, following the correct process
• Keeping informed of industry trends, digital developments, and competitor activity
• Travel to client sites/shoots across the UK and Europe
• Supporting the growth of the business
• Supporting additional ad-hoc tasks as required

Knowledge, Skills, Training & Experience:

 

• At least a years’ experience as a video specialist – either in an employed or freelance role with strong examples of previous work
• Experience using Sony cameras – including A7Siii – experience of using an FX6 is a plus
• Understanding and working knowledge of lighting and different lighting set ups
• Be a creative thinker and possess the ability to dynamically edit to music
• Good time-management skills and willing to be flexible with travel and hours
• Highly organised and a self-starter
• Great interpersonal and communication skills
• Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite (After Effects is a plus)
• Full driving licence and access to a vehicle

Work Location:

• Leigh-on-Sea office / client sites / shoot locations / home working (minimum 2 days based in the office, the rest of the week on client sites/at home)

Note: the successful candidate must live in/within a reasonable commuting distance to Leigh-on-Sea.

Salary & Benefits:

• £21,500 – £23,500 + bonus (see below) – dependent on experience
