Job Description

 

Grow your career with a global retailer as an Internal Communications Specialist (Digital) within our Communications team at ALDI Australia, based in Minchinbury. This is an 18-month fixed-term opportunity.

This pivotal role will see you at the centre of our story as part of the Communications team, carrying the torch of the ALDI brand and translating our business priorities, initiatives, and changes into meaningful narratives for our internal audiences.

What does the role look like? 

  • Develop and deliver effective, best practice communications strategies for ALDI’s internal digital platforms to increase employee engagement
  • Create written, visual and audio content and strategic thought for ALDI Australia’s internal platforms
  • Build relationships, engage, collaborate, and manage expectations of various internal and external stakeholders
  • Prepare reports and proposals for presentation
  • Ensure the timely and accurate delivery of all communications related tasks
  • Support the success and efficient operation of the Communications Department

 

Qualifications

 

What do we need from you?

  • Strong internal communications experience working across multiple topics, platforms and activations
  • Experience in digital communications, including UX and UI
  • Experience editing video and audio content
  • Excellent written, storytelling and verbal communications skills
  • An eye for design
  • An enthusiastic and proactive approach to work – thinking beyond the scope of your task
  • A collaborative approach and an ability to work cross functionally with internal teams and external suppliers
  • Ability to think critically and strategically with good analytical skills
  • Strong project management skills and the ability to work within tight deadlines
  • Experience working with apps, Microsoft 365, Canva and/or Vimeo highly regarded
