Instagram & TikTok Social Media Video Editor

Sam’s Social Media Club is helping Hobart find an Instagram & TikTok Social Media Video Editor.

We are seeking a creative, sharp social media vertical video editor to create vertical content that we will share to reels, TikTok, and YouTube shorts.

WEEKLY TASKS:

• Creating sharp, trendy, cinematic travel vertical videos using CapCut (or other tool of preference)

•Editing educational vertical content with pop-ups and captions from long-form YouTube videos using Opus Clip

• Create cleaver, accurate, social media-optimized captions with best hashtags

• Stay on top of viral trends and audio and implement with content

RATE: $35/ hour

HOURS: 12 hours/ week

REQUIREMENTS:

• 2+ years as a social media manager. (If you are not – don’t apply)
• Must speak fluent English• Proven client growth results
• Extreme attention to detail

• Stays on top of trending audio and themes better than anyone else
• Doesn’t write generic, run-of-the-mill captions like every other SMM
• Must have a creative eye to publish stunning & flawless vertical videos
• Works efficiently but not slopily
• MUST have experience creating & editing vertical videos (i.e reels, shorts, TikToks, etc)
• Must have expertise with caption and hashtag creation

•Video & written training on how to use all tools and our most current strategy

• Customized weekly schedule (set by you)

• Access to Opus Clips tool for creating vertical content from long-form YouTube videos
• Free access to our top-rated Amazon FBA, Etsy, and Copywriting courses.
• Pre-built Chat GPT templates for caption creation

ADDITIONAL DETAILS:

Additional hours are available if desired by the applicant in order to:

• Create simple social media image graphics once per week

• Create weekly polls for Instagram, YouTube, Facebook Group and Twitter• Repost video content created to: YouTube, Linkedin, Twitter, Instagram, TikTok, and Pinterest using Later (access provided)

• Monthly competitor analysis – what are others doing that we could be doing better?
