Are you a highly organized marketing pro who is passionate about marketing and fashion? Are you analytical, social media savvy and enjoy working both independently and as part of a collaborative team. We are a small team based in Edgecliff. We need someone to work closely with the Director to formulate marketing strategies and take ownership of implementing Upstage World’s online marketing strategy while maintaining a consistent brand tone across all digital platforms. We also need someone who is capable of setting goals and monitor performance.

  • Understand the goals and strategies set out by the director, to implement, create, manage marketing initiatives on time and meet brand standards across multiple digital marketing platforms, including Email, Facebook, Instagram and TikTok.
  • Work closely with internal teams; Ecommerce Manager, designer, creative agency and Director to implement planned paid and organic marketing activity across various digital channels and marketing calendar.
  • Conduct research on marketing and social trends, competitor activities, and customer preferences to inform marketing strategies and uncover new opportunities.
  • Work with our creative agency to generate social marketing materials as needed.
  • Expertise with Meta for Business and TikTok for Business platforms.
  • Help to create engaging and unique video content for posting on our social media platforms
  • Enjoy being featured in the content at times, and working with other team members to create fun and engaging in-house content.
  • Monitor and report on social media performance using key metrics including traffic, audience growth, engagement, conversion & ROAS.
  • Deliver a consistent tone of voice and visual language across our social platforms.
  • Actively monitor and engage our social community across various platforms.
  • Contribute to other adhoc digital marketing and communication activities as required.
  • Assist in the planning and coordination of events, product launches, promotional events,  organizing logistics, vendor coordination.

Skills and Qualifications

  • Tertiary-qualified in Marketing, Communications or equivalent.
  • 3+ years experience in a similar role managing social media campaigns and creating content in a similar role.
  • Experience in the beauty, fashion or lifestyle categories for Gen Z market preferred.
  • Experience in managing paid media platform Meta and TikTok
  • Expert in Meta for Business and TikTok Business platforms.
  • Proven success at growing and retaining social audiences.
  • Klaviyo experience preferred but not required
  • Shopify experience preferred but not required
  • Experienced in creating a range of highly engaging written and verbal content.
  • An exceptional communicator with high attention to detail.
  • Able to work autonomously and independently in a fast-paced, high growth environment.
  • A self-starter who stays on top of the latest relevant trends.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to present ideas clearly.
  • Strong project management skills, able to handle multiple tasks with efficiency.
  • Attention to detail, with a high level of creativity and problem-solving ability.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
  • Proficiency in Google suite of office products (Drive, Slides, Docs, Sheets)
