We’re looking for a Content Publisher to join the Colleague Content team within our wider Co-op Business Services (CBS) organisation. CBS is made up of a number of diverse teams dedicated to delivering high-quality, reliable and cost-effective business services across our Co-op. You’ll play a key role in helping CBS to support and realise our group vision of ‘co-operating to build more value for member-owners everyday’.

 

As a Content Publisher you’ll be responsible for creating, editing, and delivering high quality communications for our Support Centre, Stores, Logistics, Funeralcare, and Field Teams. We’ll look to you to make confident and informed recommendations to internal customers of the best and most effective way to use communication tools and applications.

 

What you’ll do

  • Be responsible for around 30 submissions for internal communications a week from key partners
  • Make sure the tone of voice in all communications are consistent and make appropriate recommendations
  • Adapt your language for each submission, from internal newsletters to confidential submissions which may include sensitive information
  • Adopt proofreading techniques to draw out any inconsistencies and contradictions
  • Prioritise any findings in the submission and have any inconsistencies addressed
  • Challenge and suggest alternative solutions, where necessary, to submitted information

 

This role would suit people who have

  • Experience working with Microsoft Excel and Word
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • The ability to manage relationships with internal colleagues at all levels
  • Experience working with Poppulo or a similar content email management system
  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage conflicting priorities
