Job Description

This is a creative role within Universal Studios Hollywood’s internal Production Team who will assist in the development and execution of video and still assets to support the Marketing and Sales objectives for Universal Parks & Resorts North America. Looking for a highly creative individual capable of shooting, editing, and telling a cohesive story. Candidate will be responsible for executing video and still content needs for all media platforms.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Shoot high quality video and still content for all media platforms (Interview, Broll, Social, etc).
  • Manage a variety of professional cameras, technologies, and lighting equipment.
  • Navigate all phases of production and post-production.
  • Create compelling content within project budget and schedule.
  • Create content that meets the consumer marketing goals while maintaining the global brand standards of UDX and its license partners, as well as legal partners.
  • Ensure overall consistency of brand and IP’s look and feel through style guides.
  • Deliver basic editing of video to create engaging content.
  • Manage multiple projects concurrently, typically overseeing various video components related to high level marketing campaigns to ensure consistency and exceptional quality. Understand set safety responsibilities and will adhere to established NBCU policies, procedures, training and EHS protocols.
  • Plays an active role in the curation of an ever-evolving library of video assets for the organization.
  • Perform all other duties as assigned with the Media Production Team.
  • Hybrid: This position has been designated as hybrid, generally contributing from the office a minimum of three days per week.

Qualifications

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Proven ability to produce and shoot video content at a professional level.
  • Knowledge of industry standards regarding video production.
  • Ability to edit both short and long form content using Premiere software.
  • Working knowledge of Photoshop.
  • Outstanding communication and organizational skills.
  • Basic understanding of broadcast and digital deliverables.

EDUCATION:

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience.
  • Degree in Film, Advertising, or related field preferred.
  • Minimum 5+ years’ shooting/editing creative content

This position is eligible for company sponsored benefits, including medical, dental and vision insurance, 401(k), paid leave, tuition reimbursement, and a variety of other discounts and perks.
