Bread & Jam is the largest community of FMCG brands in the UK. Founded by Jason Gibb and Tara Mei in 2016, Bread & Jam has grown to become the first port of call for ambitious FMCG entrepreneurs looking to accelerate the launch and scale of their ventures.

Bread & Jam hosts a year round programme of cutting-edge physical events. The star in the crown is our annual festival which brings together a thousand emerging FMCG brands, industry experts, investors, media and retail buyers for two days of ground-breaking content and retail & investor pitching.

Bread & Jam is run by a small team of dedicated individuals passionate about making it easier for emerging FMCG brands to succeed. We’re now looking for a Programme Co-ordinator to join our team to support our network of esteemed speakers and facilitate our programme line up. This is a hybrid working role with flexible hours to suit your lifestyle. Our office is based in London and we’re looking for someone who is able to come into the office at least one day a week.

What will you be doing?

  • Co-ordinating our content programme and agenda
  • Researching and sourcing a diverse range of speakers and panellists to create disruptive, relevant and engaging content for our events
  • Approaching prospective speakers and liaising with them
  • Creating briefing documents and facilitating and tracking the speaker journey from initial approach to on-the-day liaison
  • Managing our speaker database, ensuring contact details and additional information is up to date
  • Keeping up to date with new trends in FMCG, food and drink and the UK startup scene
  • Co-ordinating our retail pitching process
  • Working closely with our Partnerships Manager and Marketing Manager to ensure our partners are championed as part of our event line up

We’re looking for someone who is…

  • A detail oriented communicator who can write clearly, concisely and accurately
  • A proactive self starter who loves being busy and thinking fast on their feet
  • Super organised and loves having all their ducks in a row
  • Tech savvy and process driven, keen to work smart and build processes that make their working day more efficient
  • Customer centric, focused on giving our event contributors the best experience

Ideal but not essential:

  • Experience working in events and managing speakers and VIPs
  • Experience of writing copy and/or instructions
  • Experience in customer-facing roles and customer service
  • London based or able to easily commute to our London offices at least one day a week
