Sam’s Social Media Club is helping TomTom find a Brand Editorial Assistant Intern.

What you’ll do

    • Help shape and grow the TomTom brand through editorial media.
    • Support the production of editorial and thought leadership content.
    • Aid in the day to day running and maintenance of the company blog, (TomTom.com/newsroom) including uploading and managing content on the CMS.
    • Support creation of visual content that strengthen our editorial articles.
    • Collaborate and co-create brand content with colleagues in the global marketing team.
    • Write your own articles and content and learn about everything TomTom does in the process.
    • Learn the skills and what it takes to produce and publish global-level brand content, conduct brand journalism and communicate from the perspective of a global tech brand.
    • You’ll also work with the wider marketing team, social media team to extend the reach of editorial content.

What you’ll need

    • You should be enrolled as a full-time student for the entire duration of the internship
    • You have an EU citizenship or enrolment in a Dutch university due to work permit regulations
    • You are available to start 1st of February
    • A keen nose for stories, details, accuracy and authenticity
    • A can-do attitude and appetite for problem solving.
    • Big curiosity (big heart helps too 😉
    • Near-perfect English (native is a plus)
    • Basic Photoshop and media creation skills
    • Enrollment in a relevant program (e.g. marketing, media, communication, journalism)

Internship incentives with TomTom

    • 1100 Euros/month (gross salary based on full-time work)
    • 6 internship contract, with the option of extending to 9 or 12 months by mutual agreement.
