Newbie And Me is delighted to be looking for a Marketing Executive to join its industry leading marketing department, this is an exciting opportunity to gain invaluable experience within the field of marketing. Working out of our one of our stores (either Leeds, Crewe, Birmingham), with the prospect of occasional travel to our other stores. The candidate will act as the regional marketing lead and brand guardian for our 5 stores, they will be the driving force behind successful marketing activations in these sites and online.

This role is suited for an engaged, experienced and best-in-class marketer who can create new and effective relationships for each store. The successful candidate will be a core part of this development team and will be integral in developing a strategy to ensure maximum marketing engagement and success to deliver key metrics.

The candidate will have a minimum of two years marketing experience and a familiarity with retail marketing, but also hands-on experience in running social media pages on several platforms, executing projects in store and online, leading events and to spearhead adverts. It will is key for the candidate to be independent and self motivated, but they are also able to work closely with a team, with clear directive instructions, two way communication and also leadership qualities.

The ideal candidate has a strong understanding of how to market a retail brand of such as Newbie & Me, but is also keen to learn more as they adapt to social changes. Although it is not vital to hold a marketing qualification, evidence of a strong understanding of social media management, explored different successful campaigns, involvement with content creation and digital marketing will be key.

Roles & Responsibilities:

Marketing lead and key contact for marketing opportunities

Grow and maintain brand awareness

Work closely with the head of departments

Initiating new ideas and trialling them

Managing launch campaigns for new products, events or awareness.

Ensure there is effective branded marketing communications

Print or digital communication

Advertising digitally through different platforms such as Google and Meta

Developing, maintaining, and monitoring online social media marketing channels

Key contact for influencer management

Overseeing the content creation

Scheduling email campaigns

Managing the marketing budget

Analysis of the effectiveness of all marketing efforts through weekly and monthly reports.

 

Preferred Skills, Knowledge and Characteristics:

Experience working cross-functionally to launch new products/promotions and manage multichannel marketing

Experience integrating consumer insights and data/analytics to develop business insights

Budget management experience and being able to analyse the success

Excellent written and verbal communication skills and confidence interacting at all levels

Solid experience with Microsoft or Google platforms

Knowledge and experience of SEO, Google Analytics and PPC

Ability to work in a team or as an individual

Able to self manage, create leads and action projects until completed
