The social team includes 9 social media fanatics; also (if we say so ourselves) the nicest team at WRG. And also an odd one out somewhere, because we are the team that one moment is delivering packages in a Wehkamp Wishing Bus and the next we are busy releasing confetti during a live session. No day is the same. And we love that, because social is also different every time. A trend that was hot and happening yesterday? It is no longer relevant today. Social continues 24/7! We are an ambitious and creative team; always up for a good time, are not afraid to think big and were ready yesterday to go crazy today. One team, one task.
But enough about us. Let’s talk about you. Because to expand our social team, we are looking for a Video Editor Intern who knows his way around various editing programs and has a love for social media (videos).
How do you make a difference?
As an intern at Wehkamp Retail Group, you really get the opportunity to make a difference in different areas. Because when you grow, WRG grows and when WRG grows, you grow.
We think it is important that as an intern you have the opportunity to tackle projects independently and really be part of the team.
What are you going to do?
The world of social media continues 24/7 and we would like to take you along with us. We are continuously producing video content: cool reels and striking/funny TikToks. And of course that has to be edited. Together with your internship supervisor, you are responsible for editing the social videos. So can you make your videos funny and/or inspiring with the click of a mouse? Then we are looking for you!
What an internship week could look like? Editing social videos, participating in a shooting day on location and supporting a live session. And this can all be done at different locations, depending on where we are with the team; Wehkamp HQ, kleertjes HQ or in the Creative Hub. This could be in Zwolle (main location) or Hilversum (occasionally).
What do you bring and what do we offer in return?
This is an HBO internship for 38 hours. We expect the following from you, you are/have:
- A true social media lover;
- Knowledge of Premiere Pro and Photoshop is a must (great if you also know other Adobe programs!);
- Aware of the latest TikTok & Reels trends;
- Proactive and likes to tackle things;
- Creative and shares new ideas (we really like them!);
- An excellent knowledge of the Dutch language;
- A star in storytelling through your edits.
In addition to a good internship allowance of € 375, we offer you an environment in which you can develop yourself to the maximum, but where there is also absolutely room for fun. You will be given the space to make your chapter at WRG a success.
