Senior Content Copywriter – SEO

Are you a confident and creative Copywriter? Looking for a new challenge within a fast paced, rapidly growing, professional company?

As our Senior Content Copywriter you will report into our Marketing Manager and sit as part of a highly experienced Marketing Department.

This is a hands-on role and will suit a motivated individual who has a positive outlook and natural interest in content writing.

Duties:
To provide creative and engaging content for the following (not exhaustive):
· All product ranges, including product names and descriptions
· Product category and special offer pages
· Customer Care and help pages, including customer guides
· Company blog, including uploading new articles on a regular schedule
· Company Podcast (co-hosted with our other copywriter)
· Terms and Conditions pages

You will also be expected to:
· Assist the team with social media campaigns, competitions and promotions
· Refresh and develop existing content to deliver an excellent customer experience
· Drive the on-site SEO strategy and ensure all content meets up-to-date SEO guidance
· Ensure the company voice is maintained throughout the site
· Assist customer service with complex order responses
· Miscellaneous ad-hoc tasks

Skills Required:

• Experience writing both long and short-form digital copy with proven SEO experience
• Previous experience working in a marketing environment, with the ability to produce compelling and optimised copy while maintaining brand messaging, persuasiveness and readability
• Ability to work within a team, taking direction from the Marketing and Buying Managers
• Comfortable delegating and leading the other copywriter in your team
• Excellent communication skills, with a solid knowledge of English grammar and the ability to present ideas in a clear and concise way, both verbally and in writing
• Proactive and highly organised, with strong time management and planning skills, meticulous attention to detail and a proven ability to multi-task
• Ability to meet tight deadlines and remain calm under pressure.
