Digital Marketing & Operations

TechRound is one of the UK’s fastest growing and best-known online publications in startups, tech and business innovation. Based in London, we cover and feature startups and innovative businesses in and with an interest in the UK.

We are looking for a digital marketing and operations assistant to help with a range of daily tasks including content posting and generation, as well as research into startups and some of the most innovative companies in the UK and Europe. You will work closely with our digital marketing and editorial teams and will report directly to the Editor.

Suitable candidates should have a basic understanding of WordPress and should be able to write content, guides, news articles and more.

Responsibilities

You will be responsible for the posting of content on TechRound and will report directly to the Editor and marketing team. Responsibilities include:

• Daily posting of content
• Researching startups and tech news
• Working with the editorial team on features and lists
• Assisting with planning and implementing campaigns and features

Qualifications & Experience

Suitable candidates should be able to read, write and speak English to native or bilingual standard. Required qualifications and experience for the role include:

• Minimum of 6 months experience using WordPress
• Proficiency with Microsoft Word and Excel
• Proficiency with Google Docs and Sheets
• Experience in SEO and digital marketing campaigns is a bonus

Salary and Location

TechRound is based in London, UK, but this role is suitable for someone looking to work for an exciting UK company remotely and every day.

Salary: R13,000 per month (rising to R14,000 after probationary period).
