The role and what you’ll be doing:

Join our Marketing team as a Digital Marketing Lead and take a leading role in defining digital media and marketing strategies at Policy Expert. If you’re passionate about digital media and eager to shape effective and innovative strategies, this role offers a unique opportunity to work in a fast-paced environment where your contributions will be significant.

  • As our Digital Marketing Lead, you’ll play a critical role in establishing our digital media strategy and best practices.
  • Develop and execute a comprehensive digital media operations strategy to boost our direct digital performance.
  • Lead initiatives to enhance the ROI of our digital advertising efforts, focusing on data-driven approaches.
  • Collaborate with various Policy Expert teams and external agencies to establish consistent standards for search, social media, and all programmatic channels.
  • Mentor and engage internal teams and external partners on innovative practices and forward-thinking topics.
  • Work closely with our trading and commercial teams to ensure we’re maximising efficiencies.
  • Lead the ongoing development and integration of the ‘martech’ stack, keeping Policy Expert at the forefront of the space. With a particular focus on digital analytics.
  • Stay abreast of the evolving digital landscape, identifying opportunities to enhance our digital marketing efforts while minimising risks to our brand.

So then… who are you?

  • Possess a Degree in a marketing field or equivalent career experience.
  • Proven experience across various digital paid media channels, from both a strategic and operational perspective.
  • Expertise in digital media, including search, programmatic, social media, video, and display advertising.
  • Advanced understanding of the ad-tech landscape, including Data Management Platforms (DMPs), Customer Data Platforms (CDPs), and the Google ecosystem.
  • Deep knowledge of first, second, and third-party data in media, with expertise in CRM, website analytics, and other customer data sources through platforms like Google, Facebook, SnapChat and TikTok.
  • Experience working with digital verification tools such as MOAT, Integral Ad Science, and DoubleVerify.
  • Excellent stakeholder management skills, with the ability to work with internal and external partners at various levels of seniority.

Bonus skills:

  • Experience within Insurance/Financial Services/Regulated industries
  • Familiarity with the Agile change methodology, allowing you to thrive in a fast-paced, adaptive environment.
