Reporting to the Director of Marketing, the Digital Marketing Officer will be responsible for developing, implementing, and managing our digital marketing campaigns across various channels. They will play a crucial role in enhancing brand awareness and connecting our patrons and participants to our annual offerings.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Developing and implementing digital marketing strategies to attract traffic to the company website and the Centre’s performing and visual arts events and activities.
  • Developing, managing, and optimizing the Centre’s digital advertising campaigns across various platforms, including Google, Meta, YouTube, and LinkedIn.
  • Creating and managing engaging content for emails, e-newsletters, social media platforms and our website, including copywriting, imagery, and video.
  • Monitoring and analyzing the performance of digital marketing campaigns using Google Analytics and other tools to provide regular reports and insights to the team.
  • Collaborating with the marketing team and others to develop integrated marketing campaigns that align with business goals and objectives.
  • Participating in Centre and community events to create and disseminate content.
  • Assisting with maintaining the Centre’s website, including updating content, optimizing for SEO, and ensuring a positive user experience.
  • Staying up to date with the latest research, trends, and best practices in digital marketing and making recommendations to optimize campaign performance.
  • Assist with other marketing activities and projects as needed.

In addition to being an extremely organized, detail-oriented individual who enjoys all things digital marketing, applicants should possess the following qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, Communications, or related degree and experience.
  • Proven experience and examples in digital marketing, including social media marketing, email marketing, website platforms, SEO, and SEM.
  • Proven mastery of digital marketing tools and platforms, including Google Analytics, Google Ads, Facebook Ads Manager, and email marketing software.
  • Beginner to intermediate graphic design skills for content generation, such as Canva to Adobe Create Suite
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
  • Creative thinker with a passion for digital marketing and a desire to stay ahead of the curve.
  • Occasional evening and weekend work in alignment with the Centre’s and community activities.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $50,000.00-$55,000.00 per year
