Electronic Arts (EA) is looking for a dynamic, Brand Marketing Manager with achievement in brand strategy, product marketing, or live service marketing. At EA, you will join a team that is shaping the global presence and influence of the Battlefield franchise. The Brand Manager for Battlefield sits within the Global Brand Management team and is an important contributor for developing cutting-edge brand strategy for EA’s award-winning studio.

You will report to the Director, Global Brand Management and you will create marketing and brand strategy for Battlefield games. You have expertise in product marketing, digital marketing, consumer insights, and brand strategy. You will excel at marrying science and creativity to delight customers and partners, working with teams to build brands. You will excel in a creative environment and enjoy working collaboratively.

Preference is to be based in Los Angeles, CA but open to remote in the PST time zone.

Responsibilities:
  • You will support the long-term brand development, identity, and creative direction of Battlefield games, partnering with partners across Studios, Marketing and Publishing Help shape the definition of our consumer target and their associated needs, motivations, and insights to increase brand growth, product development and inform marketing strategies.
  • You will partner with consumer insights to synthesize consumer research and market trends into tangible and actionable insights.
  • You will collaborate with brand director and Battlefield studio teams to define positioning, product features, content, and experiences by advocating on behalf of marketing and the player’s needs.
  • You will partner with Consumer Insights teams to identify opportunities and challenges across merchandising, messaging, game features (and concepts), and improve player experiences/results based on those findings.
  • You will work with brand directors on briefing creative teams and driving campaign development across all art, brand and campaign content.
  • You will help bring alignment and accountability to results across global cross teams including creative development, campaign management, analytics, publishing, finance, and market planning.
  • You will conduct ongoing product and competitive marketing analysis to ensure consumer and market trends are informing brand strategies.

Qualifications:

  • 3-5 years’ experience in brand management, brand strategy, or product marketing.
  • Project management and coordination across teams and external partners.
  • Build marketing strategies and tactical plans.
  • You are a collaborator.
  • Experience taking a product or service from consumer insight to market.
  • Deep affinity for and prior experience working on FPS games.
  • Prior work with first party partners and gaming industry data sources.
  • Embraces working in a flexible environment.

US COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS

The base salary ranges listed below are for the defined geographic market pay zones in these states. If you reside outside of these locations, a recruiter will advise on the base salary range and benefits for your specific location.

Salary offered will be determined based on numerous relevant business and candidate factors including, for example, education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, geographic location, and business or organizational needs.

BASE SALARY RANGES

• California (depending on location e.g. Los Angeles vs. Sacramento):
º $103,200 – $145,600 USD Annually
• New York (depending on location e.g. Manhattan vs. Buffalo):
º $92,600 – $145,600 USD Annually
• Jersey City, NJ :
º $117,300 – $145,600 USD Annually
• Colorado (depending on location e.g. Denver vs. Colorado Springs):
º $111,800 – $151,800 USD Annually
• Washington (depending on location e.g. Seattle vs. Spokane):
º $92,600 – $135,600 USD Annually

Base salary is just one part of the overall compensation at EA. We also offer a package of benefits including paid time off (3 weeks per year to start), 80 hours per year of sick time, 16 paid company holidays per year, 10 weeks paid time off to bond with baby, medical/dental/vision insurance, life insurance, disability insurance, and 401(k) to regular full-time employees. Certain roles may also be eligible for bonus and equity.
