Location: Bristol, Hybrid – 2+ Days per week in the office

Salary: Up to £45,000 depending on experience

Social Media Manager

The Social Media Manager plays a vital role in developing and executing social media strategies across various platforms to enhance brand visibility, engage audiences, and drive business objectives.

Joining a team of 6 and reporting to our Head of Marketing you will be Responsible for managing the company’s presence on platforms such as LinkedIn, X / Twitter, Facebook, YouTube, Vimeo, Instagram, and Reddit. In this role you will craft compelling content, foster diverse community engagement, and drive growth.

By leveraging data analysis, industry trends, and a deep understanding of target audiences, the Social Media Manager serves as the voice of the company, effectively conveying its brand identity, values, and messaging to a range of diverse stakeholders.

Additionally, this role contributes to employer branding, talent recruitment, and investor relations, positioning the company as a thought leader and driving business growth.

Objectives & Responsibilities:

Vaarst is an exciting and dynamic environment meaning these are likely to change as we grow, upon joining your objectives and responsibilities will include:

  • Managing various social media platforms, including LinkedIn, Twitter / X, Facebook, YouTube, Vimeo, Instagram, and Reddit.
  • Developing and implementing social media strategies to drive engagement, growth, and brand awareness with a diverse audience.
  • Creating and managing targeted social media campaigns to increase brand awareness and drive online traffic.
  • Analysing performance metrics and making use of scheduling tools and content management systems for effective social media management.

  • Proven experience managing social media platforms including LinkedIn, Twitter / X, Facebook, YouTube, Vimeo, Instagram, and Reddit.
  • Solid understanding of how social media works – post rates, stats between interactions, how best to recycle and re-use content, automation tools, types of content that create the most engagement and participation with the brand.
  • Talent for storytelling, creating engaging content that resonates with audiences and fosters meaningful interactions, including knowledge of programmatic marketing and advertising.
  • Develop and manage targeted social media campaigns to increase brand awareness and drive online traffic, including budget management, identifying specific audience segments and analysing campaign performance to ensure optimal ROI.
  • Exceptional copywriting skills with the ability to craft compelling narratives and convey brand messaging effectively across various social media channels. Keen to build communities and a brand that people want to participate with.
  • Proficiency in analysing data, conducting competitor analysis, and identifying trends to inform social media strategies and recommendations.

  5. CRO Conversation: Meet with our Chief Revenue Officer for a 30-minute discussion. This is your opportunity to express your thoughts on the role and ask any final questions. We’ll clarify expectations and ensure this role aligns with your aspirations.
  6. Offer! If you are successful in the process, you’ll receive an offer to join Vaarst and become part of our team.
