What we need you to do

  • This role you will enjoy lots of autonomy you will be responsible for all digital marketing campaigns, including generating leads, conducting market research, and actively engaging with the business to optimise the performance of our digital strategies. This includes organic social marketing, display ads, Search Engine Optimisation (SEO), Search Engine Marketing (SEM) and Pay Per Click (PPC).
  • To plan, develop and execute the digital marketing strategy, ensuring activities are delivered to an exceptionally high standard, on time and within budget.
  • You’ll be at the forefront of executing promotional digital campaigns and exciting new product launches on the website, with the support of the wider marketing and sales teams.
  • Digitally-savvy, thrive on building relationships and excited by the idea of coordinating dynamic customer campaigns on a regular basis.
  • Seek photo opportunities to create exciting and unique content for LightSpeed.
  • To act as a central point of contact for all Lightspeed marketing activities

Main Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for developing integrated digital marketing strategy with the aim of acquiring leads and retaining customers.
  • Responsible for the digital platforms, including organic social, display ads, Search Engine Optimisation (SEO), Search Engine Marketing (SEM) and Pay Per Click (PPC) and LightSpeed website.
  • Responsible for implement email marketing campaigns and customer journey’s and monitor performance.
  • Responsible for implement and executing and monitoring digital campaigns ensuring they stay within budget.
  • Optimise paid advertising campaigns using SEO and managing any agencies involved to generated leads.
  • Executing and maintaining a brand’s presence across digital channels and website.
  • Manage the implementation, tracking and measurement of digital marketing campaigns.
  • Collaborating with media, marketing, and sales teams to improve marketing results.
  • Preparing reports on key performance metrics, including website traffic, campaign performance, audience engagement, bounce rate and ad spend return on investment.
  • Responsible for creating engaging emails and high converting land pages, following best practices, and optimising to enhance desired outcomes.
  • Collaborate with external agencies to develop marketing initiatives that align with business goals.​
  • Keep on top of landing page production workload and ensure product launches are delivered on time in line with proposed sequence strategy.
  • Responsible for budget management – raising and logging PO’s in line with budget.
  • Create innovative on-brand content for the digital channels and align then with SEO goals.
  • Engaging with key internal and external stakeholders to maintain a consistent and accurate flow of information on our digital ads and the website.
  • Ensure that the organisation’s brand and identity is adhered to in campaigns and in all communication channels.
  • Collect and use data to inform new campaigns and the evaluation of existing campaigns.
  • Stay up to date on the latest social media trends, digital platforms and implement where necessary into campaigns.
  • Responsible for budget management – raising and logging PO’s in line with budget.
  • To own, plan, develop and execute the loyalty (MGM) scheme.
  • To schedule and deliver messages through an up-to-date content calendar
  • Analyse and report on the competitive landscape and industry
  • The ability to travel widely as required.
  • Organise photograph opportunities to build new and exciting digital content.
  • Completion of administration duties as required.

What we need from you

  • 4+ years of relevant work experience
  • 3+ years of experience with multichannel marketing, including email, programmatic display advertising, SEO/paid search, paid social platforms, and website analytics
  • Knowledge of basic HTML , CMS and web publishing.
  • Social media savvy, with a passion for staying on top of trends
  • Experience with Google Ads and Google Analytics
  • Proficiency with SEO tools
  • Exceptional analytical, planning, organisational, and task management skills.
  • Confident, accurate and prompt at proofreading and checking all written content
  • Deadline-driven, attention to detail, organised, and able to multitask
  • Interpersonal skills to interact effectively with all personnel
  • Understand current marketing trends.
  • First-class communications skills, both written and verbal to deliver compelling content across various formats and to a range of stakeholders
  • Innovative and creative thinking, and the ability to initiate and manage projects
  • Ability to work effectively within a busy team and the capability to prioritise a varied workload
  • IT literate

Job Type: Fixed term contract
Contract length: 6 months

Salary: Up to £37,000.00 per year
