We are looking for a Marketing Executive with experience scaling up Meta and/or Google ads (both preferred) for an ecommerce business to join the team in this key role in helping drive efficient customer acquisition on the Wolf & Badger platform worldwide. This role will report directly to the Head of Performance Marketing and will help drive the continued development of efficient customer growth across the Wolf & Badger marketplace internationally, particularly in the USA. The role will include day-to-day responsibility for managing high budget Meta and Google accounts which drive customer acquisition across the global business, and helping scale new channels including TikTok and Pinterest. You will work closely with the wider marketing teams, and have direct relationships with Meta, Google and our other key channel partners. Your goal will be to drive efficient and sustainable growth in customer revenue through paid channels within allowable costs.

The successful candidate should have relevant proven experience in a scale-up online consumer business, ideally a marketplace, and will be proficient in managing substantial marketing budgets and helping implement consumer growth strategies through paid media across multiple channels. We have a flexible remote working policy with hybrid working at our head-office located in Soho, London.

 

Main Duties

As Biddable Media Exec, you will provide strong analytical capabilities combined with a capacity for creative thinking to ensure that the Wolf & Badger platform continues to scale sustainably through its paid marketing efforts, as well as supporting improvements to landing page conversion rates. You will manage the significant marketing budgets worldwide across all paid channels, help develop a world-class end-to-end customer experience, nurture a customer-first mindset and seamlessly develop our proposition for customers as we grow internationally. You should be able to support the implementation, tracking and reporting on our customer acquisition strategy on biddable channels.

In this role, you will:

  • Work with Revenue and ROAS targets across channels, including management of the daily marketing channel performance, attribution and reporting
  • Allocate and track 7-figure monthly marketing budgets, helping ensure efficient spend and driving daily optimisations across Meta and Google
  • Test new paid marketing channels and strategies to drive overall efficiencies on channels  including TikTok and Pinterest
  • Optimise campaigns to hit revenue and ROAS targets
  • Support with affiliate, influencer, CRM, SEO and other marketing opportunities in collaboration with the wider marketing teams, particularly where this interfaces with biddable media strategies
  • Use tools including Excel, Looker and GA4 to evaluate and report on customer acquisition
  • Support with the development of creative campaign ideas and strategies to build brand awareness on new and existing channels in order to drive better overall performance
  • Oversee management and iteratively improve the use of large product feeds (containing 100k+ SKUs) to help drive incremental performance improvements on paid channels
  • Collaborate with the wider marketing and merchandising teams to help execute consistent marketing campaigns across channels and on-site across our various international markets
  • Execute a ‘test and learn’ approach to performance marketing initiatives and help manage landing page conversion rate improvements in conjunction with Product and Merchandising

Requirements

  • Hands on experience in Biddable Media / Performance Marketing, ideally in-house with a scale-up ecommerce or consumer business; marketplace experience is preferred
  • Prior responsibility for managing significant budgets on Google Ads and/or Meta with the ability to drive ROAS improvements across channels
  • Strong Excel/GSheet skills and the proven capability to handle measurement and reporting across multiple platforms
  • Experience managing Google Merchant Centre and/or Meta Commerce Manager (both preferred)
  • Experience with web analytics platforms such as GA4

  • Knowledge of SQL or Google Ads scripts would be a benefit
