Digital Content Intern (Employ.ed on campus)

This role will support the School’s External Engagement Team with creating video content to promote the School’s suite of postgraduate taught programmes and showcase our diverse and talented postgraduate student community. The postholder will research existing student recruitment videos, and will work closely with a professional videographer on part of this project. They will also independently create shorter pieces of digital content for the School’s website and social media channels. The postholder will work creatively to storyboard and plan the content we want to create, as well as recruiting and liaising with students participating in the videos. The outputs from this internship will be used on the School’s PG webpages, degree finder pages and social media channels to attract prospective students considering further study of Mathematics at the University of Edinburgh.
Employ.ed on Campus is run by the Careers Service in collaboration with University departments and Schools. It offers exclusive summer internships at the University over the summer for 2nd year to penultimate year undergraduate students from the University of Edinburgh.
This post is full-time (35 hours per week), however, we are open to considering part-time or flexible working patterns. We are also open to considering requests for hybrid working (on a non-contractual basis) that combines a mix of remote and regular on-campus working.

The University is unable to sponsor the employment of international workers in this role. International applicants will therefore be unable to apply for and secure a Skilled Worker visa. They will only be able to take up this role if they can demonstrate an alternative right to work in the UK.
Employ.ed on Campus internships are ONLY open to 2nd year to penultimate year undergraduate students from the University of Edinburgh based in the UK. You cannot take part if you are a visiting student, or you have already taken part in the programme before.
