Purpose of Role

We’re looking for a creative, trend-focused, strategic thinker to join our Curry Brand marketing team to drive digital and social content! You will be responsible for leading the development of original video, and partnership content for our Curry Brand audiences. This includes ideating original content; managing creative and production agencies; serving as client lead on shoots; and trend-mapping in coordination with our Global Media team.

 

You will also plug in to key Curry Brand and Under Armour brand campaigns and support the execution of digital activations around brand moments throughout the year. This content strategist role will work alongside the Director of brand marketing overseeing editorial programming of Curry social handles and two specialists responsible for always-on engagement with our Curry Brand audiences.

Your Impact

⦁    Develop digital and social content strategy and lead the execution of content on platforms such as Instagram, YouTube, TikTok.
⦁    Lead the development of strategic digital partnerships in coordination with Curry Brand and Under Armour Brand Marketing and Global Comms teams.
⦁    Manage creative agencies, designers, producers, and videographers, for relevant content. Serve as client lead on relevant shoots.
⦁    Track macro trends in social and digital space and among competitors and bring a point of view to Curry Brand on areas for piloting initiatives.
⦁    Advise on regional strategy for content usage and media planning in coordination with the Curry Brand and Under Armour Media teams.
⦁    Support regular reporting to track content performance against defined KPIs and implement learnings to optimize content.

Qualifications

About You:

 

You have a strong POV on TikTok versus Reels and were listening to Clubhouse before it was cool. Juggling a million and one projects and creating status spreadsheets to keep the team on track comes second nature to you. You live and breathe fitness and sports IRL and across social media. You understand the evolving digital fitness landscape because you’ve experienced it first-hand. You know what a “burpee” and a “snatch” are. You’re self-driven, thrive in a fast-paced environment, and are always looking for ways to grow and push yourself and those around you.
 

⦁    B.A. Degree
⦁    4-6 years of relevant experience in content development and production, paid media, and social media community management (agency or client side).
⦁    Deep understanding of the social media and digital landscape, basketball trends, and online consumer behavior.
⦁    A complete understanding of, and passion for, basketball, sneaker, streetwear, and hip-hop cultures.
⦁    Must be able to write and verbally deliver clear and inspiring creative briefs for internal and external partners.
⦁    Ability to communicate ideas and recap marketing efforts in thought provoking, visually striking presentation decks.
⦁    Strong background in building purpose-led, consumer obsessed, brand enhancing marketing
⦁    Strategic, curious, enterprise and ambitious mindset
⦁    Ability to understand + synthesize data, insights, marketing metrics
⦁    Proven multi-tasking ability and strong project management skills.
⦁    Willing to work in a fast-paced environment with an openness to change.

Workplace Location

  • Location: This individual must reside within commuting distance from our Baltimore office.
  • Return to Work Designation:  3 days week in-office, the remainder of work week remote.
  • Travel: 10%

Base Compensation

 $97,421.00 – $133,953.60 USD

Most new hires fall within this range and have the opportunity to earn more over time. Initial placement within the salary range, however, is based on an individual’s relevant knowledge, skills and experience for the position. UA is committed to helping our teammates succeed and advance in their careers. Base salary is only one component of our competitive Total Rewards package.
