As an intern on the Digital Marketing team, you will have a mix of responsibility levels across projects! You will also have the opportunity to support the foundational work of the team.

 

This internship will be approximately 20 hours per week on average for approximately 12 months based on business needs. The salary for this position is $20.00 – $25.00 per hour.

 

Core Responsibilities

  • Identify and vet potential influencer partners
  • Order product for influencer partners and LEGO content development
  • Support YouTube channel uploads
  • Assist with metadata management
  • Support presentation development, reporting and internal share outs
  • Assist with communication to agency and key internal partners to ensure timely updates across integrated teams
  • Potential to support other digital team functions and channels

This team was created in January 2018 and is home to Social Media, Content, YouTube, and Influencer Marketing. Our Vision is to reach and recruit new audiences and retain existing fans, through engaging content and conversations on the native platforms they use.

 

Do you have what it takes?

  • The ideal candidate will be actively enrolled in an accredited 4-year college and have successfully completed their Sophomore year; or within their 1st or 2nd year of a relevant Master’s degree / MBA program
  • A growth mindset and appetite for cross-functional teamwork
  • Ability to plan, manage and prioritize tasks at hand to completion
  • Strong collaboration, presentation and communication skills
  • A curious and caring attitude to our community and collaborators
  • Very strong problem-solving skills along with a positive attitude while navigating challenges
  • A genuine interest in content development and brand storytelling
  • Passion for uncovering the latest digital marketing and social media platforms and tools
  • Interest in working with influencer networks, individual influencers and influencer identification, management and measurement tools
  • English fluency is required, Spanish and/or French is a plus!
  • One-Team mentality – Ability to iterate across various digital functions and think holistically across digital marketing
  • Communication – Ability to collaborate with a diverse group of team members and partners across multiple business areas and geographies within the company, and with agency partners
  • Drive for results – Desire to drive productive change, bravery to take risks, comfortable working on multiple projects, strong evaluation skills and ability to turn insights into action
  • Future thinking – Outside in perspective, ability to think ahead and test and learn with new opportunities and partners

 

New Location Update

The current work location for this role is 501 Boylston Street, Boston, MA. In 2025, we will transition to our new permanent office location at 1001 Boylston Street, Boston, MA. Specific move dates for roles are to be determined and communicated in 2024.
