Senior Social Media Officer

Barnardo’s is looking to recruit an experienced Senior Social Media Officer. The purpose of this role is to support the planning and the delivery of engaging and strategic social media content across our organic social media channels, and to lead on the content plans and message integration for our priority campaigns.

Your key responsibilities will be:

Help to develop and project manage strategic communications plans for each priority area and work with the EC&E leadership team to put these in place.
Influence and engage with internal and external stakeholders to ensure that progress on delivery of campaigns and specified targets is monitored and reported regularly.
Write, edit and track all organic social media content, working with colleagues to ensure full message integration and consistent tone of voice.
Engage with our audiences on social media channels ensuring best-practice community management.
Engage micro-influencers on social media and deliver regular influencer campaigns.
Track and report on the effectiveness of social media content and digital engagement campaigns, as well as optimising for ongoing improvement.
Help to manage reputational risk on digital channels, flagging risk, monitoring and updating the senior stakeholders regularly.
