The Anne Frank Foundation is an independent organization that manages the place where Anne Frank went into hiding during the Second World War and where she wrote her diary. The Foundation brings her life story to worldwide attention to reflect on the dangers of anti-Semitism, racism and discrimination and the importance of freedom, equal rights and democracy.

The Communications department is responsible, among other things, for content creation, management and further development of the social media channels of the Anne Frank Foundation. With these channels we reach many people and achieve a high engagement rate. If you would like to contribute to this, we have a fun and challenging job for you. You are part of the social media team and contribute ideas, devise concepts and formats and help implement them.

The Communications department is immediately looking for a:

Content Creator Social Media (M/V/X)

32 hours per week

What are you going to do?

  • You make videos, Tiktoks, stories, reels, shorts and posts for all our social media channels. You invite our supporters to interact and help provide web care.
  • You contribute to content creation, with an emphasis on audiovisual productions.
  • You devise and develop new campaigns;
  • You publish content on social media channels;
  • You monitor the channels together with your colleagues;
  • You create reports and analyses;
  • You support the organization with various online projects.

Who are you?

We are looking for an enthusiastic employee with excellent social and communication skills who meets the following profile:

  • Your working and thinking level is at least HBO level;
  • You have demonstrable experience in creating (filming and editing) audiovisual content and developing campaigns on social media. You can write well;
  • You have knowledge of and experience with social media channels and know what works on which channel. You have knowledge and experience with making analyses;
  • You have an interest in and demonstrable knowledge of digital media and follow the latest developments in this field;
  • You know how to address young people from different cultural backgrounds;
  • You are creative, flexible and show initiative;
  • You speak and write excellent Dutch and English;
  • You are independent, enterprising and think in opportunities;
  • You have experience with Adobe Creative Cloud (Photoshop and Première Pro);
  • You live in or the immediate vicinity of Amsterdam;
  • You are interested in the fields of work of the Anne Frank Foundation.

What do we offer you?

We offer a varied and independent position in an international environment. You will receive a contract for a period of one year for 30.4 hours per week. Your working week consists of 32 hours per week and you therefore accrue 1.6 hours of scheduled leave per week. We work hybrid, you work at the office in Amsterdam at least 2 days a week.

The position is classified in group 8, minimum gross € 2,962 and maximum gross € 4,182 based on a 38-hour working week. Classification is in accordance with the employment conditions regulations of the Anne Frank Foundation and depends on knowledge and experience.
