Sam’s Social Media Club is helping Lotus find a Commercial Intern Lotus Advanced Performance – Europe.

They will be joined by four all-new and all-electric premium lifestyle models, starting in 2022 with Eletre – the world’s first Hyper SUV EV – and ending with an all-new electric sports car in 2026. Summary:

Within Lotus Group, our special projects division called Lotus Advanced Performance is dedicated to delivering very special, ultra-exclusive cars and world-class customer experiences.

Early 2024 an Evija promotional car will be used dynamically and rotate among our European network and event locations. To support next year’s commercial activities we are looking for a Commercial Intern for a period of 5-6 months. Start date will be in February or March 2024.

You are part of a team that will execute the Evija marketing activation in Europe. You will be responsible for coordinating our events planning and create an effective communication strategy towards our VIP (potential) customers and partners.

This role, in direct report to the Sr. Sales Manager LAP Europe will be based in our European HQ in Amsterdam.

Activities/ responsibilities:

• Participate in sales & marketing team meetings
• Create sales communication strategy and plan how to generate awareness and interest within the target group
• Coordinate and support with the planning and hosting of marketing events
• Liaise closely with the team to plan launch material including press releases, dealer bulletins, website content and social media campaigns
• Assist in the creation of written, video, and image content for retailer network communication
• Keep the team updated regarding market trends and relevant sales subjects
• Research and evaluate competitor marketing & digital content

Qualification and skills:

• Bachelor’s degree in marketing, commercial management or a related field
• Proficient with the use of Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook)
• Outstanding multitasking abilities, accurate and structured
• Pro-active self-starter with ability to work independently
• Knowledge of the automotive premium sector
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
• Fluent in English and any additional European language is a plus
• Some work experience is an advantage

What do we offer?

• This role will be working from our Amsterdam office within our flexible working policy
• Our workweek is Monday to Friday from 09:00 – 17:00. Occasionally you may participate at events on the weekend.
• Travel may be required to assist at selected events in Europe. Applicants must therefore possess the ability to travel freely without restrictions.
• Candidates must be eligible to work in the Netherlands without VISA sponsorship.
• A monthly internship allowance of €600 euro
• Coverage of travel to work/event expenses when applicable.
