A Day in the Life

The Content Marketing Manager will report to the Director of Marketing at Wurl and is responsible for developing thought leadership and campaign strategies that raise awareness and improve understanding of Wurl. To do this, you will partner with Wurl’s Product Marketing and Sales leadership teams, as well as Comms to identify key themes, then bring those concepts to life through targeted campaigns. As the Content Marketing leader you should have in-depth knowledge of the CTV landscape, and be able to position Wurl’s solutions in the context of industry-specific problems that empower our teams to have differentiating conversations. You will also be responsible for developing campaign strategies that help build meaningful relationships with our target customers across owned, earned and paid channels.

We are looking for an excellent writer, who is able to understand technical concepts, and develop compelling narratives with data. Success requires individuals to be highly-organized, able to work quickly, and build relationships across matrixed teams. The Impact You’ll Make

  • Craft interesting, well-researched content to drive traffic, engage and convert target customers, and improve shared content across social media channels; content includes thought leadership, customer testimonials, SEO, and copy for multi-channel marketing initiatives
  • Serve as a strategic storyteller with the ability to capture the Wurl voice, using our differentiators to help us stand out in the market
  • Partner cross-functionally to develop content strategy and execute on a content calendar that supports the needs of the social media team, sales process and aligns with overarching growth goals
  • Monitor content performance and make data-informed recommendations
  • Stay up-to-date with content developments in the market and generate new ideas to draw the attention of our desired audience

Basic Qualifications

  • 7+ years experience
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with effective attention to detail
  • Empathetic, ability to place yourself in the reader/viewer’s mindset, developing strategies and content that increase brand awareness and drive business growth
  • Understanding of complex technical and business issues, and ability to elevate understanding through simplified messaging
  • Excellent analytical skill and use of data for storytelling
  • Collaborative spirit who enjoys working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, managing multiple projects and driving them to completion
  • Results and metric driven, continually looking to test, iterate and improve
  • Self starter, intellectually curious, active learner eager to drive business results
  • Experience with Asana, Wordpress, and HubSpot are a plus

AppLovin provides a competitive total compensation package with a pay for performance rewards approach. Total compensation at AppLovin is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Depending on the position offered, equity, and other forms of incentive compensation (as applicable) may be provided as part of a total compensation package, in addition to dental, vision, and other benefits.
