Job Title: Communication Assistant

Location: Dudley

Pay rate: £23,000 per annum

Hours: Between 8.00 am – 5.00 pm (Flexible)

Contract: Full-time, Permanent (37.5 hours per week)

 

Black Country Living Museum is seeking a Communications Assistant to join the team. Responsible for supporting internal communications while elevating the Museum’s external presence. This is an exciting opportunity with fantastic learning opportunities, ideal for an enthusiastic individual with a creative spark and a passion for marketing.

What are the duties? 

• Assisting in creating and distributing internal communications.
• Respectfully managing social media interactions and marketing emails.
• Crafting external e-newsletters as directed.
• Tracking digital performance (social media, emails, and website).
• Helping to create content for campaigns and promotions.
• Maintaining website content and event listings.
• Providing administrative and marketing support as needed.

• Proficient proofreading and copywriting.
• Respectful and collaborative team player.
• Excellent IT proficiency (MS Office, Adobe Suite or equivalent).
